Aggregation
What this means is that every blog which provides an rss feed to the same content has been put together into one feed - so you can see what has been posted by other Brighton Bloggers.

great idea Jane - January sounds good too, perfect post-xmas get-together planning :)
How about The Rock, in Kemptown? They have a room upstairs (it's free I think) if we need to allocate space and a fairly open plan downstairs if not...

Hi Jane,
Excellent, I can do any of those dates. Looking forward to it!

The Rock sounds good
other suggestions where I know there are good clean rooms might be
The Open House, Springfield Road
The Hanover, QPR
The Branch. London Road
How does one make a decision round here?
It needs someone to volunteer to check out possibilities, availability, prices etc
anyone up for doing this please?
Thanks for everyone's input

January Meet up
Meet up sounds nice, though I've only just found this place anyway. The thursday dates would be best for me...I think.
Not certain though.

What happens next?
What normally happens with location is we find somewhere that is free :-) It doesn't have to be particularly large as at past meetups we've been between 10 and 20 people. Previous meetups have been at the Earth and Star, Grand Central, Riki Tik, Black Lion and even the Hanbury Ballroom.
I figured I'd give everyone till the end of the week to show an interest, and chose a date, and then we can get a date and a room booked.

Me too!
I'm finally a blogger in Brighton again after a good-sized gap! (www.createdmetaphors.co.uk and www.eventyr.co.uk/ramblings.html)
I can make any of those days, but Tuesday is currently preferable (If an opinion is preferred).
Looking forward to it.

Black Horse?
Count me in, any of those dates are good (thanks for avoiding Wednesdays.)
The Black Horse near the Corn Exchange seems to do a free buffet if there's a decent sized group coming, so maybe that's a possibility?

All those dates fine with me, and will make the difficult and dangerous journey from Seaford if you are prepared to suspend disbelief and accept that town as part of Brighton

finally!
Sorry it took me so long. I'd love to join you guys. I should be available for any of these dates. When a decision has been made could you please do another mail out to let us know? Thanks!

Top idea!
The room above the Earth & Stars would be okay. I'd prefer somewhere in the middle of Brighton & Hove rather than in the outskirts (Kemp Town) ;)

Tuesday 23rd
So its looking like it'll be Tuesday 23rd January, I just need to sort out the location - I'm following up on the Black Horse link from Paul at the moment as the idea of free food is good...
