I do try and keep an eye on the comments - I need to put some filtering on as the comment spam is getting quite silly now.

I'll add your site next time I do some updates.

Stopping the spam
Hi Jane, I'm not sure if you're using the standard Blogger comments system or an add-on. If it's the Blogger one you can go in to Setting -> Comments, then choose 'Show word verification for comments' and it'll add in one of those captcha thingies where you have to type in letters from an image when you reply. This seems to cut out 99% of blog spam.

Unfortunately the comment system is home grown - which means I need to find some time to put some moderation in place... It is on my to do list, and with the amount of spam I'm deleting at the moment, its getting closer up that list :-)

Comment Spam
All comments now have to be authorised before they get displayed. So, hopefully, that will be the end of those posts.
