Andy emailed me yesterday wondering about a pre-Christmas Brighton Bloggers meetup. This had crossed my mind, although as everything is always so hectic in the run up I'd wondered about having a January meetup.

But what do other bloggers think? A pre-Christmas meet up or a January meet up?

Fine by me
Great idea - why waste your evenings buying mobiles or 'electronic beauty' gift items when you could be in the pub with fellow bloggers. December is still fine for me from the 13th to the 22nd inclusive.

Me too! The first 2 weeks after Christmas are usually good - a lot of people have leave. Maybe the second week when most people are back from overseas travel...

Well, given that it is now "The week before Christmas" and I haven't organised anything yet - it will be a post Christmas event. Bearing in mind what Olivia said, hows about Thursday 13th January. People should be back from any travels, and back to reality...

Business Trip calls
I'm not going to be around on the 27th any longer - I haven't had a chance to publicise this meetup properly either so I guess cancelling it is the best policy - unless someone else wants to organise it. I *Will* organise one in the near future - honest!

Probably for the best. We should be talking about this on the front page, not the Dec '04 one, and I haven't publicised it much either. Should be looking to get a good few people next time!
